ALTENPFLEGE is the leading trade fair for the care sector, taking place from 21-23 April 2026 at the Essen Exhibition Centre. The Federal Minister of Health, Nina Warken, serves as the patron of ALTENPFLEGE 2026. The event is expected to attract around 50 start-ups and young companies, showcasing their groundbreaking solutions in the Special Show AVENEO, which focuses on smart technology, digital tools, and new concepts for improving quality of life and reducing the burden of everyday care. The trade fair covers all topics related to generalist care, providing inspiration for new forms of living and the use of robotics and digitalization in inpatient and outpatient care. The event will feature a large stage at the ALTENPFLEGE ARENA, where visitors can expect inspiring talks, interactive sessions, and entertainment formats. The accompanying trade fair congress, organized by Vincentz Network, will bring together executives, scientists, and practitioners to discuss current challenges and present forward-looking solutions. Additionally, the event will feature themed forums, including the Digital & Innovation Forum, Catering, Housekeeping & Living Forum, and Care Perspectives Forum, which will offer practical insights into innovative products and services.
