ARCOmadrid is the International Contemporary Art Fair of Spain, consolidated as one of the main platforms for the contemporary art market since its creation. In 2026, it celebrated its 45th edition with ARCO2045: El futuro, por ahora as its central theme, featuring two spaces curated by José Luis Blondet and Magalí Arriola, which invited reflection on possible futures and tentative languages of art to envision new horizons. The General Program presented artistic contents as the main axis of the fair, with galleries and projects selected by the Organizing Committee. The curated sections played a prominent role once again.

The Opening. Nuevas galerías section, curated by Anissa Touati and Rafa Barber Cortell, brought together a selection of galleries with less than eight years of experience. The Perfiles | Arte Latinoamericano project, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, continued to strengthen the historical link between ARCOmadrid and Latin American art.

The fair took place in Madrid, with attendees able to access the venue through public transportation, including the Metro (Línea 8, Feria de Madrid station), with direct connection to the airport and the city center, as well as urban and interurban buses.
