ARCOmadrid is the International Contemporary Art Fair of Spain, established 45 years ago, and has become one of the main platforms for the contemporary art market. The 2026 edition, ARCO2045: El futuro, por ahora, featured two main spaces, curated by José Luis Blondet and Magalí Arriola, which invited reflection on possible futures and tentative languages of art to envision new horizons. The General Program presented artistic contents as the main axis of the fair, showcasing galleries and projects selected by the Organizing Committee. The curated sections played a prominent role, with Opening. Nuevas galerías, curated by Anissa Touati and Rafa Barber Cortell, featuring a selection of galleries with less than eight years of experience, and Perfiles | Arte Latinoamericano, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, strengthening the historical link between ARCOmadrid and Latin American art. The fair featured over 95,000 visitors, 1,300 artists, 206 galleries, 800 collectors and professionals, and 36 countries. The Programa General includes galleries and projects selected by the Comité Organizador, while the Comisariados sections present investigations on territories and reflections on art in the present, young artists and galleries, and the connection between the fair and Latin America. The fair also offered the First Collector service, a professional and free advice on buying art, sponsored by the Fundación Banco Santander and run by the international advisory ArteGlobaL. The fair is accessible by public transportation, including the Metro (Línea 8, Feria de Madrid station) and bus lines 73, 112, and 122. The fair features a comprehensive program, including presentations, talks, thematic areas, and professional events, which can be consulted on the Horarios y Actividades page. The fair is organized by the Comité Organizador, with various curated sections, and offers a range of services for visitors and exhibitors.
