International Conference on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (BDAI 2026)
Date: July 3‑5, 2026 Location: Chongqing, China
Co‑organisers: Chongqing University of Science and Technology, IEEE China Council, IEEE
The 9th edition of the International Conference on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (BDAI) brings together scholars, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore the latest breakthroughs and emerging challenges at the intersection of big‑data technologies and artificial‑intelligence research. Initiated in 2018 by Prof. Sheng‑Uei Guan of Xi’an Jiaotong‑Liverpool University, the conference has grown into a premier venue that attracts participants from more than thirty countries, including China, the United Kingdom, Finland, Russia, Thailand, Singapore, Turkey, Luxembourg, Germany, Malaysia, Japan, and Denmark.
BDAI is devoted to fostering original, high‑impact research—both theoretical and applied—on the foundations, algorithms, systems, and applications of big data and AI. The conference serves as a bridge between academia and industry, offering a platform where novel ideas can be exchanged, collaborations can be forged, and pathways from research to real‑world deployment can be charted. In addition to paper presentations, BDAI hosts special sessions, workshops, and keynote talks that address timely topics such as data privacy, intelligent robotics, AI‑driven security, and the convergence of AI with large‑scale data streams.
Authors are invited to submit full‑length manuscripts (PDF) in English. Submissions undergo a rigorous peer‑review process; accepted papers will be published in the BDAI 2026 Conference Proceedings by IEEE. The proceedings will be indexed in IEEE Xplore, Ei Compendex, Scopus, and other major abstracting and indexing databases, ensuring wide visibility and citation potential. Selected papers may also be invited to a special issue of Applied Sciences (MDPI) with an impact factor of 2.679 (2020).
