The China International Intelligent Equipment & Manufacturing Expo (CCIEME) is the largest and most influential state-level platform in northern China dedicated to high-end, intelligent and green equipment. The 2024 edition will be staged 18-21 June at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention & Exhibition Center in a hybrid format that combines a 90,000 m² in-person show with a simultaneous digital pavilion. Organised by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Tianjin Municipal Government, the four-day event is expected to attract 1,500 exhibitors and 150,000 professional visitors from 30 countries, with 2,000 pieces of machinery running live. The exhibition is divided into eight thematic halls: CNC metal-cutting, intelligent robotics, industrial automation & digital factories, new-energy vehicles & auto parts, laser & additive manufacturing, power transmission, smart logistics, and industrial finance & services. Parallel summits include the 2024 China Intelligent Manufacturing Summit, the Robotics & Automation CEO Round-table, the Belt & Road Industrial Parks Forum and the Tianjin International Procurement Match-making Conference. Confirmed keynote speakers are Academician Qu Yajun on next-generation CNC systems, Miao Wei, former Minister of Industry and IT, on China’s 14th Five-Year smart-manufacturing roadmap, and global presidents of Siemens, ABB, Bosch Rexroth, Fanuc, Mazak, Trumpf and Hyundai-Wia. The organisers will release the “Tianjin Initiative for Green Intelligent Equipment” and host a night-time industrial-light show on the Haihe River. Target visitors are vehicle plants, rail-transport, aerospace, ship-building, wind-power, electronics, mould & die, medical-device and general-metalworking professionals. A finance pavilion will offer leasing and factoring on the spot, while 300 head-hunters will run a talent fair for automation engineers. International pavilions come from Germany, Japan, Italy, South Korea and the Silk-Road Economic Belt. All forums and the digital platform provide simultaneous interpretation in Chinese, English, German and Japanese. Registration for domestic visitors is free until 31 May; overseas attendees can apply for an e-visa invitation letter through the official system.
