China International Aid & Development Exhibition, better known as CHINA-AID, is the country’s flagship annual forum on global development cooperation. Each track combines policy briefings, project pitching sessions and certification workshops that introduce Chinese standards on modular hospitals, solar mini-grids and emergency prefabricated housing. An innovation zone will showcase 150 grant-ready technologies, from low-cost portable ultrasound to containerised hydroponics, that have passed field trials in Ethiopia, Samoa and Timor-Leste. Delegates can schedule one-to-one matchmaking meetings through an AI-powered app that pairs donor priorities with supplier specialties. The event is hybrid; plenaries are live-streamed with simultaneous interpretation in Arabic, French and Spanish, while virtual booths remain open for 30 days after the physical close. A youth fellowship programme selects 100 early-career professionals from developing countries for mentorship and site visits to flagship Chinese-aid projects such as the Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway and the Cambodia Rural Clean Water Scheme.
