The 2024 Vietnam International City Lighting Smart Lighting Expo will take place on July 10-12, 2024, at the SKYEXPO Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. The event is guided by the Vietnam Ministry of Information & Communications and the Vietnam Ministry of Construction, and organized by A.F.C International Exhibition Joint Stock Company and Guangdong Hongben International Exhibition Co., Ltd. Co-organizers include the Vietnam Quang Trung Software City, and supporting organizations are the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Ministry of Construction, the Vietnam Association of Architects, the Vietnam Association of Architects Department of Housing and Real Estate Management, the Vietnam Real Estate Association, the Vietnam Building Materials Association, the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association, and the Vietnam Lighting Association.
The event is a comprehensive exhibition platform that provides the latest market insights and opportunities for businesses to explore the Vietnamese market, which is considered the hottest market in ASEAN. The Vietnamese government is actively promoting the use of LED lighting through two major initiatives: the Vietnam Energy Efficient Public Lighting Project (VEEPL) and the Vietnam National Energy Efficiency Program (VNEEP), aiming to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, with a target of achieving 100% LED street light adoption by 2025.
