Digital Marketing & Creative Exhibition (DMC Expo) is the only large-scale, specialist fair in South China devoted to the full chain of digital marketing, creative services, media resources and MarTech. Scheduled every October at the Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou, the 2024 edition will occupy two halls and expects 30 000 agency, brand and retail visitors. The three-day programme is built around the theme “AI-Driven, Creative Growth” and is delivered in a hybrid format: an offline exhibition plus simultaneous live-streamed keynotes and masterclasses for remote audiences. More than 400 exhibitors will cover eight zones—social media marketing, AI-generated content, short-video & live commerce, private-domain operation, brand design, IP licensing, martech SaaS and cross-border services—while 120 accredited suppliers will offer on-site audits, creative pitches and quick-turn proposals. A parallel invitation-only match-making system pre-schedules 2 000 one-to-one meetings between accredited advertisers and premium service providers. The conference portion, known as the DMC Summit, features over 60 speakers. Confirmed keynotes include Tencent Advertising vice-president Daniel Huang, Byte-Dance Volcano Engine marketing head Lynn Zhang, Coca-Cola China digital lead Frankie Li, JD Retail CMO Lisa Wang, and F5 AI creative chief Frank Feng. Agenda highlights are: “AI Models Reshaping Media Buying”, “Private-Domain Traffic 3.0”, “Live Commerce ROI Calculator”, “AIGC Brand Film Case Study”, “Data Compliance in China”, and “Overseas Influencer Playbook”. Technical workshops will run on Unity, Unreal Engine, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion and TikTok Shop APIs. The event is aimed at CMOs, growth hackers, e-commerce directors, media planners, agency buyers, IP owners, SMEs entering China and Chinese brands going global. Students and startups can apply for free passes through university partnerships. Co-located features include the China Short-Video Championship finals, a MarTech hackathon with RMB 100 000 seed funding, and a creative gallery showcasing award-winning campaigns from Greater China. Visitor registration closes 30 September; industry badges grant access to all conference stages, the exhibition floor, catered networking lounges and evening rooftop mixer.
