Digital Marketing Expo (DMEXCO) is the meeting point for marketing professionals, technology providers, media houses and agencies that want to shape the digital economy. The two-day trade fair and conference, held every September in Cologne, brings more than 40,000 visitors and 1,000 exhibitors together in the Koelnmesse halls. The programme is split into two parallel worlds: the Expo Area, where companies present martech, ad-tech, data and e-commerce solutions, and the Conference Area, which offers seven stages with 800 speakers. Keynotes, masterclasses and panel discussions examine artificial intelligence in marketing, the end of third-party cookies, retail media, connected TV, sustainability in digital advertising and the creator economy. DMEXCO 2024 will focus on “Empowering Digital Creativity” and will welcome top managers from Google, Meta, TikTok, Salesforce, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé and Volkswagen as well as influencers such as marketing scientist Mark Ritson and former NASA engineer-turned-YouTuber Mark Rober. Attendees can take part in guided tours, startup pitches, the DMEXCO night networking festival and matchmaking tools that arrange one-to-one meetings. All content is simultaneously streamed online, and recorded sessions remain available on demand for 30 days after the event. The target group includes CMOs, brand managers, media planners, publishers, software developers, investors and students. Ticket formats range from a free expo pass to an all-inclusive platinum pass that guarantees priority entry to every stage and the exclusive speaker lounge.
