Expodental Meeting is Italy’s foremost trade fair for dentistry, uniting every segment of the supply chain in Rimini from 16-18 May 2025. The 2025 edition expects 450 exhibiting brands spread across 22,000 m² of exhibition space, showcasing chairs, CAD-CAM systems, 3-D printers, implantology kits, sterilisation units, practice-management software and consumables. A parallel programme of 80 scientific lectures and 50 live demonstrations is accredited by the Universities of Bologna and Siena for up to 26 continuing-education credits. Morning plenary sessions will debate “Digital Workflow from Diagnosis to Rehabilitation”, “Minimally Invasive Periodontal Therapy” and “Artificial Intelligence in Radiographic Interpretation”, while afternoon workshops let dentists scan, design and mill a crown in under an hour. Key speakers already confirmed include Prof. Marco Ferrari, dean of the University of Siena dental school, Dr. Francesca Vailati, past president of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and Dr. Matteo Bassi, immediate-loading implantologist. A new 2025 feature is the Dental Start-up Arena, where 20 young companies pitch to venture-capital judges and visitors vote for the most disruptive technology. The exhibition is flanked by specialised pavilions: Ortho District for orthodontists, Hygiene District for dental nurses, and a dedicated Dental Technician Arena with casting, sintering and staining master-classes. All sessions are in-person, simultaneously translated between Italian and English, and streamed for registered delegates. The organisers expect 18,000 visitors, 30% of them from 70 foreign countries, and have arranged shuttle buses between Rimini station and the fairground every 15 minutes. Evening networking events include a beach reception on 17 May and a charity football match raising funds for cleft-palate surgeries in Kenya. Registration is free for trade visitors who pre-book online before 30 April; dentists pay a reduced fee if they register as part of a study group of ten or more.
