FCE Pharma is Brazil’s premier in-person trade fair for pharmaceutical production, quality control and regulatory affairs, held annually at São Paulo Expo. The 2024 edition, scheduled for 27–30 August, expects 300 exhibitors and 7,000 technical visitors from API suppliers to packaging specialists, QA/QC managers, production engineers, plant directors, regulatory pharmacists and R&D formulators. The concurrent congress runs 26–28 August and offers 120 accredited hours of content aligned with Anvisa RDC rules and FDA/EMA updates. Confirmed keynotes include Anvisa’s medicines manager Cassius Gui, USP’s Dr. Norberto Peporine and Roche’s global tech-transfer head Dr. Ana Paula de Oliveira; additional panels feature executives from Eurofarma, Cristália, Aché and Fiocruz debating continuous manufacturing, serialization track-and-trace, sterile filling robotics, real-time release testing, cold-chain qualification and post-pandemic supply-chain resilience. Parallel workshops provide hands-on calibration of dissolution apparatus, media-fill simulation, extractables/leachables protocols and validation of AI-driven vision systems. A start-up arena showcases 40 emerging companies presenting blockchain-based e-batch records, portable Raman devices for raw-material ID and modular micro-reactors for on-demand API synthesis. The exhibition floor is divided into four zones: Ingredients & Intermediates, Machinery & Automation, Laboratory & Analytics, and Packaging & Logistics; live demos include blister-line speeds above 600 blisters min-1, 100% IPC spectroscopic inspection and robotic secondary packaging cells.
