FORST live is Germany's largest annual demonstration show for forestry technology, renewable energies, and hunting. The event takes place at the Offenburg Exhibition Grounds from March 27th to 29th, 2026, with daily opening hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Over 360 exhibitors from 16 countries showcase state-of-the-art technology, machinery, and services on 57,000 square meters of exhibition space, including 46,000 square meters of outdoor space and 11,000 square meters of indoor space. The main focus of the fair is on forestry and forestry technology, featuring timber harvesting, forest management, timber processing, transport technology, surveying, occupational safety, and digital solutions. Additionally, renewable energies are showcased, including biomass heating systems, wood gasification boilers, wood-burning stoves, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, energy storage, and consulting on wind power projects. The hunting section includes equipment for hunting and wildlife observation, modern optics, thermal imaging, and night vision technology. A new addition to the event is the FORST live Congress, which takes place on March 27th, 2026, under the motto "The future of forestry - knowledge meets practice." The Congress features high-caliber keynotes, practical insights, and inspiring discussions on topics such as forest conversion, energy, technology, and sustainability. The Congress is open to trade and private visitors and participation is free of charge, but requires a FORST live ticket. Seats for the Congress lectures must be reserved in advance. The event also offers an excursion program, providing practical insights into typical Black Forest areas, and a conference called Wald.Dialog.Zukunft, which focuses on sustainable, climate-positive forest use.
