The Hund & Pferd event takes place in Dortmund from November 6th to 8th, 2026, at the Messe Dortmund. The event brings together dog and horse enthusiasts with a diverse program. As the largest dog exhibition in Germany combined with a horse show, it attracts a large audience. The event features around 270 horses and 8,000 dogs that keep the public entertained with a non-stop program. The program includes breed presentations, a large show program, training demonstrations, and numerous interactive activities. The over 240 sales stalls offer a wide range of products for dog and horse owners at affordable prices. In the dog section, the focus is on interactive activities, a colorful supporting program, and health checks. The highlight of the dog program are the exciting breed competitions, where dogs from over 240 breeds compete for the top spots on the winner's podium. In the horse section, over 250 horses participate in the event. The non-stop show program, which has been a legend since the first event in 2006, takes place in the large arena in Hall 3 from 10 am to 6 pm. The show features high-quality performances that delight the audience with their diversity.
