The 2026 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation (IEEE ICMA 2026) will take place in Changchun, Jilin, China from August 2 to August 5, 2026. The conference is organized by the IEEE ICMA 2026 Organizing Committee. The event is open to researchers, engineers, and professionals in the field of mechatronics and automation. General Chairs are Prof. Kazuhiro Kosuge and Prof. Lei Ren, while Program Chairs are Prof. Wenzheng Wu and Prof. Yi Liu. The conference features organized sessions, where proposals with a title, organizers, and a brief statement of purpose must be submitted to an OS Chair by April 10, 2026. An invited session consists of at least four papers that must be electronically submitted for review. Contributed papers must be submitted in PDF format, strictly following the IEEE PDF Requirements for Creating PDF Documents for IEEE Xplore. The standard number of pages is 6, with a maximum of 8 pages and extra payment for two additional pages. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A & I) databases. The conference program includes keynote speeches and plenary talks, with details to be announced. Important dates include April 10, 2026, for full papers and organized session proposals, May 1, 2026, for proposals for tutorials and workshops, and June 1, 2026, for notification of paper and session acceptance.
