Industrial Automation Show is India’s largest dedicated exhibition and conference for smart factory, robotics, AI and Industry 4.0 technologies. Scheduled for 21-23 August 2024 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, the tenth edition will occupy 15 000 m² and bring together 300 exhibitors and 12 000 professionals from automotive, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, packaging, plastics, electronics, logistics and energy utilities. The show is co-located with the Smart Manufacturing & Digital Transformation Conference, creating a single platform that covers the complete automation value chain from sensors, drives and control systems to enterprise software and cyber-security. The three-day agenda is built around live demonstrations, product launches and a parallel conference that features more than 80 technical sessions. Keynote speakers confirmed for 2024 include Dilip Sawhney, Managing Director of Rockwell Automation India; Dr. V. V. Sastry, Joint President – Digital at Larsen & Toubro; Sudipta Bhattacharya, Chief Digital Officer for Adani Group; and Rajesh Nath, Managing Director of VDMA India. Daily tracks focus on operational technology convergence, edge AI, predictive maintenance, collaborative robots, energy-efficient drives, TSN-enabled networking, industrial 5G and cybersecurity for brown-field plants. A new Start-up Zone will host 40 early-stage companies pitching plug-and-play retrofit kits, vision-guided cobots and low-code MES platforms. Visitors can earn Continuing Professional Development hours by attending certified workshops on functional safety, SIL verification and IEC 62443 security standards. The Robot Demo Arena will stage 30-minute cycle-time challenges where integrators programme six-axis arms to perform pick-and-place, force-controlled assembly and vision inspection. A parallel Workforce Pavilion partners with the All-India Council for Technical Education to showcase micro-credential programmes that reskill technicians for smart-factory roles. Admission to the exhibition is free after online registration; the conference pass grants access to all keynotes, panels, networking lunches and the evening Industry 4.0 Leaders Reception.
