Japan IT Week Spring is the country’s largest trade show for enterprise IT, gathering more than 160,000 professionals from finance, manufacturing, retail, logistics, government, healthcare and telecommunications. Held annually at Tokyo Big Sight, the 2025 edition will run from April 23 to 25 and will be conducted fully on-site. The exhibition is organised by RX Japan and is free to enter after online registration. The show is structured as ten concurrent specialised expos: AI & Business Automation, Cloud & BPR, Information Security, Data Center & Storage, Web & Digital Marketing, Software & App Development, Retail & E-Commerce, Embedded & Edge Computing, and the newly added Quantum Computing pavilion. Each zone presents the latest hardware, platforms and services, live demonstrations, and comparative benchmarks. More than 2,200 exhibitors are expected, including global brands and venture-scale start-ups. The keynote theatre will host 120 sessions led by C-level executives from Toyota, Sony, SoftBank, Nomura Research Institute, NTT, Fujitsu, Rakuten and the Cabinet Digital Agency. Core themes for 2025 are generative-AI adoption at scale, zero-trust security, green data-centre design, sovereign cloud, software bill-of-materials governance, and post-quantum cryptography. Parallel technical seminars offer hands-on labs on Kubernetes security, SAP modernisation, PCI-DSS v4.0 compliance, and edge-AI model compression. A two-day pitch contest will award the most promising domestic start-ups, while a joint job fair expects 8,000 engineers and 150 recruiters. Visitor badges grant access to all co-located shows, shuttle buses from Shimbashi and free translation headsets. The organiser estimates that 62 % of 2024 attendees held budget authority exceeding USD 100,000, and that 71 % intended to place orders within six months.
