The IN.STAND conference has established itself as a significant platform for maintenance solutions in Southern Germany since its introduction in 2019. However, the event was unable to reach the desired visitor numbers in the fall of 2024. Following a thorough analysis and intense discussions with partners, exhibitors, and multipliers, the decision was made to pause the IN.STAND in 2025. The originally planned dates for October 21st and 22nd, 2025, will not take place. This deliberate decision opens up new perspectives for a future-oriented orientation of the maintenance theme at the Stuttgart location. The focus on this topic is planned to be strengthened within the AMB – International Exhibition for Metalworking – from September 15th to 19th, 2026. By integrating the IN.STAND into the AMB, a broader and highly qualified audience from the manufacturing industry is expected to be reached. The stronger bundling of relevant target groups promises a higher visibility and greater impact for exhibitors in the maintenance and services sector. This measure is part of a long-term strategy to further develop the Stuttgart location as a central platform for industrial services in a future-proof and attractive way.
