The 2024 China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessories Exhibition—commonly branded as “China (Guangrao) International Tire Expo”—will be staged 15-17 May in Guangrao County, Dongying City, Shandong Province. First held in 2010, the show has become Asia’s largest dedicated tire and wheel event, last edition attracting 760 exhibitors and 52,000 buyers from 129 countries. Organisers expect roughly 800 companies on 48,000 m² of indoor and outdoor space this year, with national pavilions from Germany, Italy, India and Thailand. The 2024 theme is “Intelligent, Green, Shared Future”, reflecting the industry’s pivot toward smart manufacturing, sustainable materials and circular-economy solutions.
Exhibits cover every segment: passenger, truck-bus, OTR, agricultural, aviation and motorcycle tires; wheels, rims and accessories; retreading equipment, molds, rubber chemicals, steel cord, carbon black, synthetic rubber, tire-inflation and repair tools; and the fast-growing EV-specific tire lines. A concurrent Auto Accessories Hall displays lubricants, batteries, brake pads, suspension parts and car-care electronics. The format is strictly in-person; no virtual streaming is programmed.
A two-track conference runs alongside. The Global Rubber Industry Summit (16 May) gathers CEOs from Linglong, Sentury, Doublestar, Triangle, Prinx Chengshan and international players such as Continental and Pirelli to debate over-capacity, EU labelling evolution, and trade defence. The Technical Symposium (15-16 May) hosts 30 academic lectures on dandelion rubber, silica masterbatch, low-rolling-resistance compounds, RFID tagging and AI-based X-ray inspection. A new “Carbon-Zero Road” workshop will release China’s first voluntary carbon-footprint standard for tires.
Target visitors are importers, distributors, fleet managers, vehicle assemblers, raw-material suppliers, R&D institutes and financial investors. Pre-registration is free for trade visitors; a business-matching app arranges one-on-one meetings, while freight-forwarding and inspection agencies offer on-the-spot export services. Evening networking includes a golf day at the Yellow River Estuary course and a gala dinner celebrating the “Top 20 China Tire Brands”.
Guangrao County produces one in four Chinese tires, making the expo a barometer of global pricing and export policy. Shandong authorities use the week to announce new port-rail logistics subsidies and green-bond incentives, reinforcing the region’s dom
