The 26th Annual UFO Festival will take place from Thursday to Saturday, May 14-16, 2026. The event commemorates the 1950 UFO sighting in McMinnville, Oregon, which made national news when a local couple spotted a flying disc over their farm. The festival will feature a lineup of expert speakers, including Jason Martell, Matthew Szydagis, Rebecca Charbonneau, Jeremy Corbell, George Knapp, and Kelly Chase. The event will also include a street fair, podcast recording, live music, Landing Party, trivia, fun runs, costume contests, and an Alien Costume Ball. A vendor fair will be held in downtown McMinnville, where attendees can apply to participate. Additionally, the wildest and wackiest parade on this side of Saturn will take place, with applications available for those who wish to march. Furthermore, a screening of the award-winning documentary A Tear in the Sky, featuring speaker Matthew Szydagis, will be held on May 4, 2026, at the Kennedy School.
