The MODELLBAU NEUMÜNSTER event is a biennial model building exhibition that will take place for the 25th time on February 28 and March 1 in Neumünster. The event features over 20 model railways on display, including narrow-gauge and standard-gauge tracks, nostalgic layouts, digital and analog models, and a mix of German and international exhibits. The trade area offers a exclusive selection of commercial and private providers from across the country, specializing in model trains and model cars. The event showcases a wide range of model building categories, including plastic and cardboard models, matchbox and construction toy models, remote-controlled agricultural models, car exhibitions, and more. Visitors can also expect to see a large fleet of Lego Technic models, RC drift courses, and crawler vehicles, as well as a large driving field with high-performance, custom-built cars. The event also features a large model shipbuilding exhibit, with ten clubs and private individuals from the region showcasing their models, including some built to scale and capable of floating. A large 100 square meter pool will be set up, where visitors can watch the model ships in action and enjoy shows. The event takes place in Halle 1, Foyer East, and Forum, and also in Halle 2, 3, 4, and Foyer North. The event is open on Saturday from 10am to 6pm and on Sunday from 10am to 5pm, with the last entry one hour before the event ends. The admission prices are 15 euros for adults, 5 euros for children and young people between 5 and 14 years old, and free for children under 5 years old.
