Railwaytech Indonesia 2026 is a B2B and B2G railway event and the 8th edition of the exhibition will be held on 28-30 July 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. The event is organized by GEM Indonesia, a leading industrial event organizer in Southeast Asia, in collaboration with MASKA (Indonesia Railway Society) and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation. The exhibition aims to support the Indonesian government's efforts in advancing railway transportation in Indonesia. The event is expected to attract industry professionals and stakeholders in the rail transport ecosystem in Southeast Asia. The exhibition will feature various aspects of the railway industry, including rail infrastructure, railway technology, rolling stock manufacture, rail operators, signaling and control systems, passenger services, and components and parts. The event will provide a platform for professionals to interact with industry players, discuss business matters, and gain the latest information in the industry. The exhibition is expected to be the most prospective event for the entire rail transport ecosystem in Southeast Asia. The event is expected to be a significant milestone in the development of the Indonesian railway industry, which is expected to expand to 10,524 km by 2030, including 3,755 km of urban railway. The Indonesian government has initiated several programs to achieve this target, including increasing passenger mode share from 4% to 9% and passenger rolling stocks of over 2,800 locomotives and 34,000 cars. The freight mode share is also expected to increase from 1.1% to 13%, alongside rolling stocks of over 2,400 locomotives and 28,000 wagons. The event is expected to be a key platform for industry players to showcase their products and services, and for professionals to network and learn about the latest developments in the industry.
