The 2025 edition of BelAgro, Belarus’ largest international exhibition for agriculture and animal husbandry, will occupy 25 000 m² of the Minsk Expo fairgrounds from 3–5 June. Organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus and Expoforum, the three-day event is positioned as the country’s principal platform for demonstrating field-to-fork innovation and attracting foreign investment into the agro-industrial complex. The 2024 show hosted 412 exhibitors from 14 countries and 19 300 trade visitors; organisers expect a 15 % increase in both figures this year.
The exhibition is structured around six dedicated sectors: crop production, livestock genetics and veterinary medicine, feed and feed additives, agricultural machinery and precision farming, storage and logistics, and food processing. A 2 000 m² outdoor demonstration ring will allow live testing of tractors, combines, sprayers and seeding robots on a prepared soil track, while a 400 m² indoor ring will host daily milking and hoof-trimming master-classes. A new 2025 feature is the Smart Farm micro-zone where 5G-connected sensors, drones and AI decision-support systems will run continuously in a glass-walled model barn.
Confirmed speakers include Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats, FAO Permanent Representative in Belarus Dono Abdurazakova, EBRD Head of Belarus Oyuna Mammadova, and global CEOs ofCLAAS, Amazone, Kuhn and Rostselmash. The business programme comprises 28 sessions: the plenary “Feeding 10 bn: Belarus’ Role in Global Protein Security”, panels on ESG reporting for agri-holdings, phytosanitary harmonisation with the EAEU, and a closed-door meeting of the Belarusian Agrarian-Industrial Union with Chinese and Iranian procurement delegations. A parallel investment track will present 24 ready-to-build greenhouse, dairy and deep-processing projects seeking USD 1.2 bn in equity.
The event targets farm managers, agronomists, livestock specialists, input distributors, food processors, financiers and government officials. Registration is free for trade visitors before 20 May; students and academia receive day passes at 50 % discount. International guests can apply for expedited Belarusian business visas through the organiser. The entire programme is delivered on-site; selected keynotes will be streamed with simultaneous Russian-English interpretation.
