TEFAF Maastricht is a premier fair for fine art, antiques, and design, bringing together 7,000 years of art history under one roof. The event takes place from March 14-19, 2026, and features over 260 prestigious dealers from 20 countries. The fair showcases the finest art works currently on the market, covering traditional areas such as Old Master paintings, antiques, and classical antiquities, as well as modern and contemporary art, photography, jewelry, 20th century design, and works on paper.

The event attracts art professionals and connoisseurs from around the globe, including major private and institutional collectors, art consultants, interior designers, dealers, students, and the culturally curious. A rigorous vetting procedure is conducted by 200 experts, organized into 30 specialist committees, to examine every single object for sale at the fair for condition, quality, and authenticity. The Art Loss Register supports this process, allowing potential buyers to purchase with confidence.

The fair is divided into ten sections: Ancient Art, Antiques, Design, Jewelry, Modern & Contemporary Art, Paintings, Works on Paper, Showcase, Focus, and Arts of Africa & Oceania. The Focus section features solo artists and their masterpieces, including works from Scandinavian and De Stijl design, French Realist painting, African Modernist ceramics, and American photography. The TEFAF Showcase provides a platform for the next generation of art dealers, featuring nine galleries representing seven countries and showcasing treasures from 1,000 years of art history.
