The Creativity Workshop in New York, running from July 31 to August 3 2026, is an intensive four‑day experiential program designed for anyone who wants to boost creative capacity in personal or professional contexts. The target audience includes educators, writers, artists, designers, business professionals, and any individual seeking practical tools to overcome creative blocks, develop a daily imagination practice, and translate inspiration into concrete work.
The workshop is hosted at the Creativity Workshop Studio in Manhattan, a short walk from the West Village subway station, and participants are encouraged to use the city’s museums, galleries, theaters and neighborhoods as additional sources of stimulus. Class size is deliberately kept very limited to ensure personal attention and collaborative interaction.
Each day runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., after which participants have free time to explore New York. The curriculum blends individual exercises, group activities and instructor talks. Day 1 opens with an introduction to the “hows and whys” of creativity, followed by relaxation techniques, a guided visualization built on the hero’s journey, automatic drawing, and a “show and tell” session that draws on childhood memories to sharpen storytelling. An instructor talk examines how famous writers, scientists and artists found inspiration and offers methods for participants to do the same.
Day 2 continues with relaxation and introduces map
